In an attempt to connect with their peers, two Finnish teenagers become entangled in addiction and violence. Atte and Jonsu just want to be loved, but they lose their way and slip through the cracks of the welfare system. Through their eyes, we see their relationship as a couple change at a rapid pace, matching the speed at which they change their looks and post content on social media. As the carefree nature of adolescence fades, Atte and Jonsu are confronted with the harsh realities of adulthood and discover an unexpected strength that drives them not to give up.
