“Elvira Notari – Beyond Silence” at Cinema Modernissimo

On the occasion of the tribute to filmmaker Elvira Notari organized by the Cineteca di Bologna, Cinema Modernissimo hosted a screening of Elvira Notari – Beyond Silence (@elviranotari.doc), a documentary directed by Valerio Ciriaci, following its premiere in the Venice Classics section at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

The film, which was presented at the latest edition of the Bio to B – Industry Days Pitching Forum, is now embarking on a tour across 16 Italian cities, bringing to audiences the extraordinary story of Italy’s first female film director and producer.

To celebrate the occasion, the Bio to B team joined the director and producer Antonella Di Nocera of @parallelo41produzioni at Cinema Modernissimo, reaffirming the project’s connection with independent cinema and new auteur voices.
