Continues the 2024 edition of Bio to B - Industry Days, the audiovisual market that Biografilm dedicates to film and television players. Bio to B also includes a parallel programme organised by Ji.hlava IDFF and supported by Emilia-Romagna Film Commission: the third session of the Emerging Producers programme dedicated to film distribution.
The programme of the day 11 June:
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the DAMSLab Auditorium the PITCHING SESSION continues, with the presentation of 5 documentary projects in the making. The Pitching Forum is led by Guido Casali. A NETWORKING LUNCH will follow.
From 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the DAMSLab Auditorium there will be a PANEL "Appearance matters: the care of the image in documentary cinema", where directors and director of photography Timoty Aliprandi, Emilio Costa, Massimo Intoppa, Debora Vrizzi will speak. A NETWORKING COFEE will follow.
From 15:00 to 17:00 in the DAMSLab Theatre Room, the Decision Makers meet the creative teams of the officially selected projects at the Pitching Forum.
The Bio to B events continue from 16:15 to 17:15 in the DAMSLab Auditorium, with the FOCUS "Anatomy of a teaser: how to create desire in less than a minute", led by Chloé Barreau, Director and Creative Producer.
From 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the Awards Ceremony will take place in the DAMSLab Auditorium: Signe Byrge Sorensen will receive the Make It Real Award 2024, presented by Massimo Benvegnù and Chiara Liberti, Co-Artistic Directors of Biografilm. The Bio to B awards for the official selection of the Pitching Forum, hosted by Guido Casali, Pitching Forum Coordinator. Followed by a networking cocktail.
The evening continues at the BIOGRAFILM HERA THEATRE | Pop Up Cinema Arlecchino: from 20:30 to 22:00 there will be the event "Avrei Questa Idea", a screening of the Best of the previous episodes of the vodcast, followed by the live show hosted by Valerio Lundini and Edoardo Ferrario, in which young talents will present their idea for a film or TV series inspired by a true story or biographical character.
