Applications are officially open for Biografilm Academy, the free advanced training course focused on the organisation of film festivals and cultural events, promoted by Biografilm Festival and developed in collaboration with ForModena.

The programme is designed for young people and cinema and culture enthusiasts who wish to gain practical, job-oriented skills, combining theoretical training with hands-on experience.

What is Biografilm Academy

Biografilm Academy is an intensive programme of 300 total hours, including:

• 180 hours of classroom-based training, covering the key areas involved in organising a film festival;

• 120 hours of practical internship during the Biografilm Festival, offering direct experience of a major international cultural event.

The course focuses on communication strategies, event organisation, cultural production, audience development and project management, taught by professionals working in the field.

Who the course is for

The course is open to applicants resident or domiciled in the Emilia-Romagna region, who are interested in pursuing a professional path in the cultural and audiovisual sector and who meet the requirements outlined in the official call.
