The 20 Pitching Forum projects compete for the following prizes, awarded by the jury of Decision Makers:

Best Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc International Project Award powered by BPER Banca

goes to Anatomy of a Portrait of Francesco Clerici and Mattia Colombo, product by Marco Malfi Chindemi.
The award consists of a cash prize of €1,000, intended to support the continued development and realization of the winning project.

Best Bio to | Doc Emilia-Romagna Project Award 2025 powered by ADCOM

goes to Wind and Water of Giuseppe Petruzzellis, product by Lucia Pornaro.
An award offering a €2,000 voucher for professional equipment rental at ADCOM to a regional documentary project within one year of the award, it provides practical support and easy access to high-quality tools for production.

DAE Documentary Association of Europe Bio to B | Doc Award

goes to Everything Works Out (In the End) of Maximilien Dejoie, product by Mattia Puleo, James Heath, Ilaria Marchetti and Lorenzo Bagnato.
The award comes with free membership for one year and a bespoke consultation for the winning team.

MIA Market @ Bio to B | Doc Award 2025

goes to Giulio Regeni: All the Evil in the World di Simone Manetti, product by Agnese Ricchi and Mario Mazzarotto.
The award includes an out-of-competition invitation to the market, the inclusion of the project in the official catalogue, and two free accreditations for the winning team.

Visioni Incontra @ Bio to B | Doc Award 2025

goes to Giulio Regeni: All the Evil in the World di Simone Manetti, product by Agnese Ricchi and Mario Mazzarotto.

Bio to B | Doc Rising Talents Special Mention

goes to Popo of Eleonora Deligio, product by Angelo Rocco Toriano and Marta Pelo, Mediterraneo Cinematografia (IT) production.


Fiction Factory awards Eduardo Bigazzi's Cagnaccio as best original Fiction Factory Showcase subject.  Voted on by the audience and in the presence of the selection committee ScriptaBo Association


Make it Real Award, recognizing professionals who have distinguished themselves in the field of documentary film production and distribution, this year the award goes to Tom Quinnfounder and CEO of Neon, director, producer, and screenwrite, a professional who, through his commitment, has made possible some of the most significant films of recent years, supporting visionary filmmakers in their most radical creative pursuits. With Neon, Tom Quinn has brought works like Parasite and Anora to American audiences – and to the Oscars – helping to reshape the global cinematic agenda.
