Bio to B - Industry Days | DOC returns on 7 and 8 June 2025 for its 12th edition, in a new and prestigious location: the Cinema Modernissimo, in the heart of Bologna. Two days dedicated to European documentary production and culture, with educational appointments, international meetings and new creative perspectives. In addition to the now consolidated Pitching Forum with 20 projects in development, the programme is enriched this year with innovative formats and spaces for transversal dialogue.
Development Room is born, while the project Past Forward – Archive Film Lab, a workshop dedicated to rough cuts of documentaries based on archival materials, created in collaboration with Archivio Aperto, reaches its conclusion.
In response to the growing need for sustainable practices, Green Frames – Festival Sustainability Think Tank makes its debut as a space for reflection on the ecological, social, and economic impact of cultural events.
Finally, the awaited Make It Real Award is back, an opportunity to reflect on the delicate balance between commercial success and cultural commitment, through the eyes of those who have really managed to ‘make it real’.
