Publishing Houses (small and medium-sized companies), Literary Agencies, Licensing & Rights Specialists with texts published or in the process of being published, whose rights are available to be proposed for film adaptations to accredited producers.
WHAT:
On-to-one meetings and speed networking for first contacts, updates, buying and selling and options. It will be possible to book the meetings in advance, on the basis of publishing catalogues and book titles available online, or arrange the appointments during the market.

WHO:
Authors, screenwriters, directors, writers with an original story for a book, a film, or both. Both fiction and non-fiction projects are welcome, with no restrictions on genre and format (e.g. feature film, series, novel, short novel).
WHAT:
The selected story ideas will be showcased in a public pitch for the accredited audience (publishers, producers, audiovisual and publishing professionals)

A Workshop focusing on some topics concerning film production, the themes and lecturers will be announced in the coming weeks on Bio to B Industry Days web pages.
WHO:
Participation will be reserved to a maximum of 10 emerging producers with their production company based in Emilia-Romagna, or free-lance producers active in the area.

WHAT:
A maximum of 20 European documentary, film and TV series projects will have the opportunity to present and discuss their projects in an international context, in front of an audience of Film Commissions and Film Institutes, producers, distribution and sales agents, festival representatives, commissioning editors, Italian and international scouts.

SELECTED PROJECTS:
Each Pitching Team will be required to pay a €300 fee to the Bio to B Industry Days organization, and will receive:
- 2 Bio to B Pitching Team passes, granting access to all the events of the 4 days of Bio to B Industry Days 2023 (workshops, panels, 3 networking lunches and networking coffee breaks, closing ceremony and institutional appointments);
- Access to the Pitching Lab, ad-hoc preparation training;
- A space for the project and Pitching Team members in the printed and on-line catalogue of Bio to B Industry days;
- A customised schedule of one-to-one meetings with the Decision Makers attending the event;
- A double room for 2 nights for the two participants in charge of the pitch;
- A special discount to attend Biografilm Festival 2023 screenings
PLEASE NOTE:
Members of the selected Pitching Teams are strictly required to take part in these activities:
- Pitching lab: online training taking place over 2/3 days in May 2023;
- Pitching Forum: public presentation of the project (pitch+teaser) and Q&A:
- One-to-one meetings

Team members of regularly submitted and non-selected projects can request by 19 May 2023 up to 2 discounted Industry Passes to attend the 4-day Bio to B Industry Days.
