Mexico City has a population of 9 million inhabitants. The Government makes available only 45 ambulances. For this reason, many private citizens offer an alternative emergency service. Among them there's the Ochoa family. But in a ruthless industry, everything has a price. So, in order to survive a bureaucracy that risks sinking their own activities, these "knights of the night" are forced to give in to questionable tricks to redeem the money from their "clients." Investigating the ethical compromise of an entire family, under the flashing lights of an ambulance, Midnight Family blames the government's inadequacy while emphasizing the need for an intervention that cannot be delayed anymore.
