“To return to your childhood is like opening Pandora’s Box”. For the filmmaker Steffan Strandberg, the summer of 1980 was not like the others: it was the summer when he learned to swim, when he got his first camera. But also when her mother was partying for days in their living room with many drunks. Until the night when his father knocked at his window and everything changed. The director, in an exciting travel through time, remembers one of the most important moments of his life and how difficult it was to grow up with an alcoholic mother. His memories - painted through animated sequences and old super8 footages - show how two innocents brothers tried to overcome a really bad situation, which they’re still struggling with.
