Nadia Murad blusches while she’s looking at one of her interviews on television. She was hoping, like any other girl at her age, that one day people would have heard about her. She couldn’t imagine that she will be remembered forever as an ISIS’ terrorism victim. The night of August 3rd 2014, in Sinjar, everything changed for her and many Yazidis. The film, following the tragic events of a forgotten genocide, offers an exclusive sight about a brave survivor and her community, most of them considered infidels by the Islamic State and exterminated because of it. Nadia doesn’t want revenge, she just wants to aware the world, completely ignorant about an historical episode that still today shocks a thousand innocent people’s lives.
